Dr Raj Darjee is a consultant forensic psychiatrist in private practice and adjunct associate professor at the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. He trained and worked in forensic psychiatry in Scotland for almost twenty years before relocating to Australia in 2018. He has extensive experience of assessing and treating people who commit sexual offences in legal, mental health and criminal justice contexts. He has authored a hundred academic publications on forensic topics and is co-author of the Risk for Sexual Violence Protocol Version 2 (RSVP-V2). His current research is on sexual homicide, online child sexual abuse, sexual offending risk assessment, stalking risk assessment, serial murder, paraphilic disorders, and atypical homicide.
